Dr. Chloe Muir

Dr. Mike Kiedrowski
I have been a managing partner at Dove Valley Animal Hospital since October 2003. I was a graduate of West Phoenix High School before attending Northern Arizona University receiving my Bachelor of Science in Zoology. I finished my collegiate education at Colorado State University receiving my DVM degree in 1989. Post-graduation, I returned to Arizona and began my real-life training at Camelwest Animal Hospital before taking a position and becoming a partner at Mountain View Animal Hospital where I practiced until 2003. I studied in an internship in avian/exotic medicine under Dr. Susan Clubb in Florida. I have provided consulting work for The Phoenix Zoo, Out Of Africa, Wildlife World Zoo, Arizona Game & Fish, the Phoenix Herpetological Society, as well as the Animal Kingdom Stores, Pet Pad Stores, The Arizona Reptile Center, AZ Sugar Glider Rescue, Piggie Poo Rescue, Any Rat Rescue, and AZ Animal Welfare League. I have lectured on exotic animal medicine and husbandry to numerous groups including The Arizona Veterinary Medical Association, The Arizona Veterinary Health Care Team and the International Herpetological Symposium. I spent 6 years on the board of The Arizona Herpetological Association, and was a consulting veterinarian for The National Turtle and Tortoise Association. I was also a member of The Association of Reptile and Amphibian Veterinarians.
I was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin where I learned to chase frogs and snakes in the local swamp. My family moved to Arizona in 1968. As a small child, my career choices included paleontology, herpetology and veterinary medicine. After being informed that all the dinosaurs were dead, Paleontology was dropped from the list. In college, I realized that opportunities for herpetologists were very limited so Veterinary Medicine became the top choice.
My hobbies include spending time with my wife and two sons. In my spare time, I breed reptiles and restore old pinball machines to sell or add to my collection.

Dr. Jennifer Newquist
I grew up in Phoenix, graduating from Arizona State University, and received my DVM from Colorado State University. I have worked with mammals of all sizes throughout my career, ranging from Clydesdales to dwarf hamsters and everything in between. I enjoy small animal medicine with a special interest in soft tissue surgery, dentistry, internal medicine, and acupuncture.
I spend my free time with my husband, Jack, tending to our chickens, horses, and 2 dogs. We also enjoy traveling, hiking, camping, biking, and horseback riding.

Dr. Amanda Likewise
I grew up in both Northern Colorado and Northern Wyoming. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Animal and Veterinary Sciences through the University of Wyoming in Laramie, Wyoming. Then, I earned my Doctor of Veterinary Medicine through Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colorado. I have a special interest in exotic animal medicine and pain management. I am even certified in medical acupuncture through CuraCore.
After spending the majority of my life in areas with very cold winters and snow, I was ready to be somewhere warm. I have enjoyed living in the Phoenix area and always find new places to visit and things to do. I also enjoy reading, hiking, camping, horror movies, cross-stitch, and spending time with my boyfriend of 10 years, Jeff.

Hello! The pronouns she, her, and hers honor me. I graduated from veterinary school at Colorado State University in May 2021, after receiving my bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences in 2015. Although I love wandering in the Colorado mountains, I was born here in Arizona, so it feels great to come home to the desert! I am interested in complicated internal medicine cases, cardiology, wound care, ER surgery, and small mammal medicine. As your veterinarian, I want you to feel empowered by knowing what all of your options are, and feel supported in the decisions that you make.
I have provided veterinary care to homeless and feral animals abroad, including in Guatemala and Nepal. When not enjoying work, I am spending my time either in the great outdoors, or traveling. I love hiking, rock climbing, and backpacking. I recently backpacked 357 miles of the Colorado Trail! I currently have a Yorkshire terrier named Rosco, and a Leopard gecko named Sir Reginald.

Dr. Bryn Christensen
I grew up in Southern California before moving up to Davis to complete my bachelor's degree in animal science at the University of California, Davis. I then moved with my husband to Phoenix to attend veterinary school at Midwestern University.
We have two Australian Shepherds, Leilani and Alana, a cat named Kaileia, and a pitbull named Khal Doggo. Outside of the office I enjoy hiking, camping, and spending time at the beach.

Dr. Jade Bratu
I grew up in Bakersfield, California and received my undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of California, Riverside. After which, I moved to Phoenix to attend veterinary school at Midwestern University.
While in school I volunteered at a local Bakersfield zoo called the California Living Museum, aka CALM, as a wildlife rehabilitation assistant for a few years. While there I helped treat sick and injured wild birds, mammals, and reptiles until they were healthy enough to be released back into the wild. Through this experience I found and developed my passion for exotic animal medicine, but I especially love reptile medicine.
Outside of work I generally try to spend my spare time hiking, but when it's too hot outside, I'll play video games with my fiancé and cuddle with my pets. We currently have two dogs, a cat, a ball python, a boa constrictor, and two leopard geckos!
